A Quick Word From Gwen. "Despite what you may have heard, the only reason I am not attending the MTV Video Music Awards is because I will be recording and spending time with my family. Any other speculation out there is false. I congratulate all of this year's performers and nominees and I look forward to being back at the VMA's next year."
